Bike Marshal

Details

As a bike marshal, you will be leading a corral of race participants through the course, on your own bike. *Must provide your own bike*

Pre Race you will meet with the Bike Marshall coordinator, at the Volunteer Tent, to receive your safety vest, credentials and event radio and do a pre-race course ride. Before the race you will meet with our start line manager, or race director, for last minute instructions.  During the race you will be leading race participants through the course ensuring everyone stays on course and report your location to event command.

After riding your corral through to the finish line either ride the course backwards or meet up with the last runners to ensure everyone is staying on course and safe.

Gear Check

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

As a volunteer at gear check, you will be assisting with collecting, organizing, and returning gear to race participants before and after the race. When runners come to the tent with a bib number that corresponds to the numbers on your row of boxes, you will collect the gear from them, ensure it has their gear check tab fastened to their clear bag and place it in the corresponding box.

Course Marshals

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

As a volunteer course marshal, you will be responsible for directing and keeping participants on course. The course manager will give each volunteer a safety vest, flag and instructions prior to the start of the race.

Start Line

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

September 21, 2025

Details

As a volunteer at the start line, you will be responsible for directing participants to the correct corral which is indicated on the front of their bib. The start line manager will give further instructions once you are in position prior to the start of the race.

Finish Line

September 21, 2025

Details

As a volunteer at the finish line, you will be handing out medals to those well-deserving 5K finishers! FOR SAFETY, please stand back, don't crowd the finish line and let the runners come to you!

Aid Station

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

As an aid station volunteer, you will be passing out water on the course to race participants.
